# Source corrections and comparison policy — v153

API v1.1 routes, authentication, quotas and existing fields remain unchanged. New optional `data.source_comparisons`, `data.shared_source_group`, `data.post_date`, and supporting-passage provenance fields disclose alternatives, common underlying resources and user-supplied text.

`quote_verified` remains false for user-supplied transcriptions. The supplied text is separately available as `supplied_transcription`; `transcription_checked_against_supplied_copy` does not authenticate the original publisher post.

E0260, E0267, E0337, E0344 and E0351 were removed from the active evidence inventory at the user's request because their original links are unavailable. Their identifiers are never reused. Consumers should reconcile the complete manifest as already documented; past immutable snapshots remain available. `/evidence/<id>` returns a withdrawal notice. Public withdrawal register: `/source-documents/withdrawn-evidence.json`.

Source comparison policy and values are available at `/source-documents/comparison-policy.json` and `/source-documents/value-comparisons.json`. Alternatives retain issue, period, geography, measure, interpretation status and analytical-selection rationale. Same publisher does not establish identical product or methodology. A missing legacy original is not a verified competing source. ASPA and DHS share one poster, not two independent forecasts.
